This layout is designed specifically for the topography of the plot we chose, but it can be redesigned and scaled to a plot of any size, be it 1 acre or 1000 acres. Because we used giant sequoias for our canopy layer, we were able to fit a second understory layer, which would be comprised of Michigan's classic trees, the white pine and the red oak.
